KOORONG BOOK SHOP IN WAYMOUTH STREET, ADELAIDE, FROM 1:30 UNTIL 2:30pm (although the room is actually booked through until 3:00pm). They have a small/medium meeting/staff room at the back of the shop which should fit us in comfortably, and they have a SMALL FREE CAR PARK DIAGONALLY ACROSS THE ROAD (if this is full then there is quite a lot of street parking both metered and unmetered - we have only ever had to park on the street twice in the last twelve months).
If possible, WOULD THOSE OF YOU WHO ALREADY HAVE SOME AUSLAN RESOURCES PLEASE BRING THEM WITH YOU (e.g. books, CD-ROMs, etc) so that we can put them out on display for the rest of the group to see what is available - sort of as a "show and tell".

From Sarah

Here are some advance venue dates for our sporty park days. These
dates will take us up through this school term and into the end of
the term break in July (for those who use term dates)
The park days will run fortnightly on Tuesdays from 1pm to 3pm to
free up morning times. (They run on opposing Tuesday fortnight
bowling sessions held at Salisbury Bowland.)

I recognise that during this term we will be moving into the cooler
weather. For some families cold or rain isn't always an indicator
that we need to cancel an event. (FYI If I intend not to attend I
will post it onto my site at

If you're thinking about, new to, or experienced in home education, then come along to an Open House and see how others have put home education into practice. These times provide the opportunity to meet other home educators, to visit different home education environments, and for discussion over a cuppa.
For more information, or if you would be happy to host an Open House at your home, please contact Louise on
